I believe it exists, but I sure a hell ain't messing with it. I see enough ghosts and moving shadows as it is. I left a friend's house once because they were doing a seance in the living room. I'm not cool with that.

No. Gaia was a goddess of Greek mythology.
I know that. But she's worshipped by Wiccans, too.

I dunno about witchcraft in the sense of big hat and a broom. I do belive in the power of the mind and its potential.
It's not our fault, they pulled a mind scramble on us. They opened their eyes and talked.

I've only known one Wiccan in my life and what little I learned from her combined with what little I have read about Wiccan and Pagan beliefs seems very very similar to old Native American beliefs. I believe in those things over the ability to cast spells and things of that sort :)

I believe in it, wholeheartedly. I come from past generations, who practiced it.

She has been quiet for awhile.....

My father's brother, who ironically, was named, Jesus, was a witch! My grandma and dad told me, that he was always obsessed with black magic, since the age of 13. He would lock himself in his room, endless hours, with his books.

He had two wives, who left him because of his practices. He used to say that cats had an invisible bone. He used to wear a hat with cat bones, he had killed for rituals. One of his wives left when she went into the kitchen and he was about to immerse a black cat, in boiling water. From what I remember, he was, very erie.

Another aunt, who I will not name. She's still living, dabblest at witchcraft. I ran away from home, when I was about 16. I had a fight my dad and headed to my aunt's house who was about an hour away at Coney Island, Bklyn. That night when I got there, I was sitting in the livingroom. She lived in the projects, then. She opened the main door entrance to dispose of the trash. She left the door open. When you first come into her apartment, immediately to your right is the kitchen (galley type). Straight ahead is the livingroom. When she enters back into the apartment from disposing her garbage, she immediately goes into the kitchen. Now, where I am sitting in the livingroom, I have full view of the entrance and the kitchen.

At this point, as she is coming out of the kitchen towards me, the main entrance door, perpendicular to the kitchen, remained open because she didn't close it behind her as she re-entered the apt.
As she exits the kitchen towards me, she stopped short and we both said, OMG! did you see that? (simultaneously) We both saw a perfect black, silhouette of a tall man, wearing a black cape-like trench with a hat. He darted into the room. He disrupted her pace, we were both caught off guard. She had dishes in her hand and I was surprised, she hadn't dropped them. He brushed by her, like a rude person, cutting someone off in a crowd.
That night, she put me to sleep in the last room. Failed to tell me, that, (things) happen in that room. She had three children, at the time and didn't have any of them sleep in that room with me. Well, I have to tell you that, my bed rocked all night. At first, I thought it was my mind, playing games. I got up a few times and turned on the light, questioning my sanity. After a few times, I said, out loud. "If you want to rock me to sleep, by all means." I got under the sheet and covered myself , from head to toe. The bed kept shaking but I ignored it, til I feel asleep. Next morning, I left. But before I left, I discovered that my aunt, practiced witchcraaft and had an altar, in one of her closets.

Very interesting story, Ramaries. I have heard about "shadow people," like the one you describe darting into your aunt's home, I guess.

I have never known of a Wiccan who would kill a cat the way your uncle did. Sounds like he was into some very dark stuff. Pumpkin's comparison of Wicca to Native American beliefs sounds more like what I am familiar with. Sort of animistic. It seems that, wherever on earth people live, if they aren't into one of the big monotheistic religions, they are more often animist than anything else.

My maternal great grandpa was a witch. Also, my great uncle's wife was too. She and my grandpa were <deleted> witches and enemies. They fought over land in PR.

I have dabbled at it, in the past. I had to go to the cemetery one night and grab a fistful of soil and had to leave four pennies in lieu of the soil. I felt the force of a spirit run towards me and stop short right behind me. Kind of like, when a jogger passes you by and you feel the breeze pass after. I guess it, wanted to make sure, I left the pennies.
It was quite an experience.

I have left it alone. I know there are certain things you should steer clear of and this is one of them.

My uncle wasn't a wiccan. He was a black magic witch.

All of the family members, I mentioned, were into, black magic.
