There are actually numerous predictions and scenarios going on right now that suggest these are the end times. Maybe they are all connected? The rub being, no one knows for sure if this is really the year 2011. Records may have gotten mixed up during the dark ages. It could be the year 2000, or even 1711, as counted from the date that Jesus dude was born.Jack Skellington wrote:It could be the last trip many of us do if we are to believe the December 21st 2012 end of the world prediction!![]()
How many times is it the world should have ended now since the new millennium?![]()
One of the scenarios I've been tracking is that there may be an object, about 4 times the size of Jupiter, coming close to our solar system. This may be a brown dwarf star, making our system a binary system. Most star systems do have 2 suns. The article says 27 million years but if it's on an elliptical orbit that could be much less. Also, an object that size coming closer to Earth would have unsettling effects on the planet, like disrupted weather patterns and increased geologic activity. Hmmm... glad that's not happening <sarcasm>.
Something that size would also dislodge a lot of objects orbiting the system. Comet Elenin will be coming very close to the Earth next month. In fact, Earth will be going right through it's debris field. The last 2 times this comet has been aligned with Earth and the sun there has been a large earthquake, Japan and Chili. The next alignment is at the end of this month. If there is another large quake at the end of this month it'll give this idea that the comet itself is affecting the planet a lot more credence.
One thing is for sure, there is something out there. You can look it up yourself on Google Sky. You'll need to install the infra-red filter to Google Earth. The guy that did the video thinks that Comet Elenin is the brown dwarf but if something that big was this close to Earth, we'd be able to see it.
I think, assuming any of this is real, the reason these predictions exist at all is because the ancients most likely went through it themselves. Ever hear of Noah's flood? They spent a lot of time after that watching the skies and building observatories. They probably had a pretty good idea when these events would happen again.
Oh... another reason I started looking into all this? Besides the unusual weather and geologic activity? I saw a show on History Channel, they did a segment on underground bunkers and bomb shelters. The people who install these things say business has never been better. Why? Guess where most of the fallout shelters are being built in the USA... Washington DC. This is apparently going on in other countries. What aren't our leaders telling us? Did the terrorists get hold of nuclear weapons? Or was Ronald Reagan trying to let the cat out of the bag when he mentioned a threat from outer space?
All I really care about is that we get another Hallowe'en under our belt if it is all true.
