Friday The 13th 2 (2011)

Post by iHaunt » Wed Nov 10, 2010 4:16 pm

Anyone know about this Friday The 13th part 2 remake? I read everywhere over the internet about this second part remake with combined part 4,5 and 6. But, I didn't find about this on imdb.com and there was no information. Some people say it was being in production last year, but hold until this year... well, we have to wait and see then.

By the way, did anyone see "Friday The 13th" remake last year? It was combined with part 1, 2 and 3. I thought it was okay, but not really good movie. I didn't impress it. :? I prefer the classic FT13th movies.

Well, I remember when the "Halloween" remake came out. IT was a very good development of the story as to how a picked on, wimpy looking Michael Meyers became a killing monster. What I would like to see in the remake of Friday the 13th 2 is a good and interesting development as to how a mentaly challenge child grows into this inhuman, unstoppable killing machine that nothing could kill, not even Freddy Krueger.

It won't be happening. I've heard from numerous sources and right from Fuller himself that there absolutely not movement or word on either Friday or Nightmare sequels, and he doesn't expect there to be for a while.

Well the first Friday the 13th remake was a MAJOR dissappointment to me. It wasn't bad, and the cinematography was actualy better then in the original, but it was just a remake and nothing more. In the case of the remake of Halloween, you saw the story of how Michael Meyers went from being this bullied kid who everyone use to make fun of and beat up on, became a silent, stalking, unstoppable killer.

I didn't like the Friday remake. I'm tired of seeing horror movie after horror movie that's borderline porno. The original was better. I had issues with the timeline in the Halloween remake. It starts out like its set in the 70s and then we go to the present. Would'nt Laurie Strode be a lot older than a high school senior?

I am a huge fan of the original movies, and I was thrilled to see Jason back on the big screen. I thought it was decent, so I hope they keep making them. I'd like to see the next one actually at Camp Crystal Lake!
