"LITTLE HALLOWEEN" is THIS FRIDAY

Hi Folks:

I just thought I would throw out a reminder about thsi friday being the 13th of the month. That makes it 'LITTLE HALLOWEEN." Unfortunately, as luck would have it, I have a very busy photo schedule that day, but you can rest assured, that when I get hom from the photo shoow, no matter how late it is, I will be screening one of my horror classics with one of my plastic jack o'lanterns setting the mood.

My son graduates from college on Friday. I imagine some of us, at least, will be helping him move out of his dorm that night. But I might be able to carve out a little me-time for a scary movie or two.

The bad news for me is that I won't even be home from work until after 11:00 pm, so I plan to have my plastic jack o'lantern out and ready to go the day before, and then when I get home, I'll screen one horror movie. I think it will be "House of Dark Shadows," but I'm going to be pretty wiped out, so I think it will only be one movie for me on Friday.

I taking tomorrow as a vacation day.
The 'mates are in Hawaii, the weather is supposed to turn nasty and I have enough fire wood to stoke up the fireplace all weekend.

Scary movies: check.
Fireplaces: check.
Vodka: check.

I saw the original 13 ghosts a few nights ago (ondemand) and I now have rented the remake, I think I'll watch that tonight for Fri 13th

well, I didnt do it, I had to wait until the kids went to bed before I could watch it and by that time I was knee deep in DVR shows......oh well.

I watched it Spooky it was awesome!! 13 Ghosts is one of my all time fav's!!!

well poop....went to watch 13 Ghosts and the DVD arrived cracked, now I have to wait for the replacement

I've never seen the original. I never even knew the recent (2001) one was a remake.

The 2001 version isn't anything special in my opinion. It's worth a watch, though, if you've never seen it.

I watched "House of Dark Shadows" when I got home from my photo shoot.

I have had quite a few discs arive from Netflix cracked or broken.
