Oh, I thought it was because the bad economy had turned all their cities into ghost towns. Either that, or it's just really really scary because it produced Michael Moore.

I talked with a guy that owns a haunted attraction up there in Michigan before... he told me that some haunts in MI that uses Hollywood style props: Scream Machine in Taylor, MI, Slaughtered at Sundown in Romero, MI, The Lab in Grosse Ile, MI and Erubus in Pontiac, MI. There must be at least 50 haunts in MI, which ranging from $10.00 - $25.00 per visitor.
