So I guess a person selling this type of thing could sell on line individually, just not through Etsy? They'd have to create their own site?

I was always kind of ambivalent about these types of listing. Especially the ones the purported to sell entities bound to physical items, such as fairies or ghosts or werewolf spirits. Either you don't believe in these things and are duping people or you believe and you're binding a sentient entity into an object and selling it. Seems kind of hinky either way.
