I know this is an old post but with Halloween so close, I thought I'd give a plug to my favorite haunted house in the Atlanta Metro Area.
It's called Netherworld. You can see it at:
www.fearworld.com
It's well worth the price.

Netherworld is an amazing production. it ought to be with the money those guys put into it. I've only been once and it was several years ago. I hear its even better these days! have you been recently?

We try and go every year, it's not too crowded during the week and you're usually better off paying to see both haunted houses rather than just paying to see the one. The're both extremely cool and very professional in both terms of actors and animatronics. They do a new theme every year so it never gets stale and you never know what to expect. If you're really into haunted houses and you're within say 2 hours of Atlanta by car, you really owe it to yourself to grab a bunch of friends and go see it.
It's right off I-85 at Jimmy Carter Blvd. in Norcross.

I think we'll ad that one to the list this year
i'm only an hour away! so I've no excuse. I can't remember the time it took, so about how long do I need to allow myself that evening to get parked and to go through both attractions? are they about 20 mins. each?

Parking shouldn't be a problem because they have a big area and off duty police directing traffic.
I'd say 20-25 minutes is about average for each house. Lines are shortest during the mid-week.
Give yourself about an hour for both houses and that should leave you with time to spare if you find yourself running late.
I Have seen a few RUN through the place, because they were so scared! Took them about 5 minutes. LOL!

haha I bet! well great! that's not too bad. this could even be a week night thing being this close to home! it's been forever since I've been to a HH with a good yearly budget! but don't get me wrong, our local house here may not have their funds, but they make up for it in creativity and is doing extremely well
