Witches Brew

Serves 4 of 6 oz. cups.


Ingredients:

2 cups apple cider
1 and 1/2 to 2 cups vanilla ice cream
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon ground nutmeg


Preparaion: Process cider, ice cream, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg in food processor or blender until smooth. Pour into glasses and srinkle with additional nutmeg.

Also, you can add a few drops of any food coloring to ingredients in food processor to make a scary brew. ;)

That does sound like it would tast good. Sort of a Halloween milk shake only with apple cyder instead of the milk.

I bet a little cinimon would go great, too.

I have actually done this at a party, it was great! We just did something a little bit different in the presentation. Go ahead and mix all the ingredients. You will need 2 pots (one larger then the other so the smaller pot can fit inside the larger one), if you have some sort of pot that looks like a cauldron then it is even more perfect. Put the brew in the smaller pot but purchase some dry ice packets (I have seen these at Publix when it gets close to Halloween). The dry ice packets go in the larger pot(follow the directions) then put the smaller pot with the witches brew in the larger pot. It will create a sense of the witches brew boiling and everyone enjoys it.;-)
