A Thank You and an Apology.
Well, folks, I'm afraid I have some egg on my face and I hate to write posts like this, but you all deserve an explanation.
First off, I want to say "thank you" to demonic Duck for the wonderful package I received from him, which included but was not limited to a box of Frankenberry. That was really a nice touch, not to mention all the other GREAT items that were in my package. Thank you and I hope your Halloween is going better then mine.
I also want to apologize for my tardieness in getting the package out to my Grim Reaper person. Due to an issue with my sewer, I am unable to do that at the time. Both pictures of my loot and the gifts I owe my Grim Reaper person are fourth comming, but right now I don't know when.
Finally, if plumbing problems and medical bills weren't bad enough, my DLP projector decided to go on the fritz, and I haven't the money to tweak it right now, so this Halloween it's going to be jack o'lanterns, ToT candy, weenie roast in the fire place, home made bacon & beans, and GOOD AND LOUD Emerson Lake & Palmer, Tocatta & Fuge and any other Halloween sounding music I can dig out of my record and CD collection. It's a kick in the pants, but that's the way it is. I'm still going to have fun though.
This wikl also be my last post until Monday Nov 4th as the weekend is going to be a busy one for me.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Mike

It's alright Mike, we understand that sometimes things just come up. We all have our own problems, some are financial as well. I myself need to get a new car, and lenses for my glasses.
The important thing is that you take care of yourself first.
It is great that you're still putting forth the best effort possible in your Halloween decorating, and sometimes something simple is all you really need.
Best of luck, and Happy Halloween. See you November 4th, which is coincidentally when I'll be taking my Skillshare photoshop class, so hopefully it'll be a day of good luck for everyone here.

The people here are worth so much more than holiday trinkets, so don't sweat it.
Good luck with your tasks , mike.

All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Villagers are coming after you with torches and pitchforks Mike! Just kidding. I know how tough it is when money is tight. Have a spooky Hallowe'en.

Mike as an unemployed person I totally understand tight budgets. I splurged this morning and got Pumpkin Spice Lates from Starbucks for my wife and I but I really shouldn't have. I'm glad you enjoyed all your loot and more importantly that you are ok we were getting worried about your absence. Hang in there and I'm sure you're luck will turn around soon.

Re: A Thank You and an Apology.
I'm sorry you're having such difficulties. I hope everything works out for you. I hope you had a Happy Halloween and equally nice All Saints and All Souls days, too.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

Thanks for all the sentiments. Again, I know it's been a long time and it's been quite busy, and in the midts of it all, I have my Christmas cleaning to do, but everything is starting to fall into place.
Thanks, again, for understanding.
Mike

Please don't feel bad! That's how life is and sometimes it gets messy! I'm just glad that you are all right and not in the hospital, etc.
I have to admit that thoughts of you kept flitting around in my head like a little bat!
We tend to worry more about folks who live alone, I think!
Glad you're okay!!
