I would like to see a few more haunted attractions open up in my neck of the woods. There are a few here in Illinois, but people who were at them told me they were pretty lame. I'll go and find out for myself about them. Maybe I'll end up liking some of them.

Just read this morning that Disneyland is raising admission to $74 for the 30th & 31st for Mickey's Halloween Party. They are however adding more nights for a total of 13. The other nights will be $59.

I had a lot of fun the few times I visited Disney, but Disney is really geared more for kids. I did attend a Halloween event at Pleasure Island back in 94, but it was all about drinking and very little true Halloween spirit. The "spirits" all came in bottles. I don't mind a drink or two, but I was hoping for some real Halloween horror and mayhem. I was dissappointed.

This sounds interesting! For me I just get a copy of Fear Finder and try to go to as many haunted houses as I can. I went to the local one downtown last year that was very expensive that was not that good. It was all animatronics and only about 8 actors total for a giant haunted house. I have made it a tradition though to go to Cedar Point Halloweekends. That for me is the superbowl of Halloween. I love how from the morning and during the day it is geared to more of family halloween and it reminds me of when I was kid during fall. Then I love how things start to slowly turn over during the evening and everything becomes scary and creepy!

This sound like a question for The Duchess, since he live there. Tell him to throw on his prettiest dress and hike on over there and find out.

Hi gang!

From what I can tell it's was given approval and barely passed the council. Some members didn't like Halloween.

I don't see any starting date. It is being done by Midnight Productions

I will check it out and let you know.

There are two other Halloween activities by Midnight Productions. 13TH gate Haunted House & Necropolis 13.

I will find out an internet site and post it. You can get all info from it.

Will be back in touch.

I am so happy I now have a regular Halloween activity to go to: The Ghostly Galavant weekend at the Cabildo. This year I plan to be the murderous "Mrs" Bates.
