This is awesome! I love the reactions. Would be a great one to pull at Halloween. Of course, with driverless cars now being legal it may not be long before people are no longer surprised by this.

That's a really good prank!
I'm surprised that that one girl threw the meal into the car. Had she gotten any money for it?

Most likely, the restaurant has two windows. You pay at the first, and get the food at the second.

It occurs to me there are a lot of issues to be ironed out before self-driving cars become commonplace. Jalopnik shows Audi's car parking itself but, as someone points out in the comments, who takes the ticket to park? Also it occurs to me, will this be the end of valet as a job description?

My car is supposed to be able to park itself, but I have never used that feature.

That was a great prank, but the prankster really has to be careful that he can see where he's driving.

That was stellar. I wonder if he went back and explained or just left them to be confused....

If I saw a car driging it'self, stopping at lights, using turn signals and the like, it would certainly get my attention. The only concern I have is that it could be dangerous if you can't see where you'rs going.
I'm showing my age with this, but years ago, there was a tv show called "Candid Camera" (Smile! You're on Candid Camera.") It was hosted by Bill Funt, and the entire jist of the show was various pranks that he would play on the unsuspecting public. There was one episode where a policeman was directing traffic, and a Volkswagen pulls up to the intersection, and then splits in half. The look on that cop's face was that of utter stupification. They pulled the same prank on a few other traffic cops at that same intersection, and the mixed bags of looks he gave the camera were unreal. I just about burst my side laughing. Then when Bill Funt came out and said "Smile, you're on Candid Camera," they knew they were pranked.
The trick to the splitting Volkswagon is that some one cut the body of a VW in half, and then mounted each half to a motorcycle. When they got to the intersection, one motorcyclist went straight, and the other made a left turn. Truely an all time classic.
