Seeing as it is so quiet here, so I think I will start a new thread.


What kind of weapon that freaks you out the most??


For me, it is the cutting-throat razor. I hate those things. If I was in the middle of an alley with Jason Voorhees at one end with a machette and some mad Sweeney Todd-like barber was at the other, with his razor out, I'd be taking my chances with Jason every time.

I'd have to say blades of any kimd. I just think it would be such a terrible feeling to be cut.

You said exactly what popped into my head when I read the title of the thread... blades of any kind.

I don't find blades too scary for me but and axe (sort of a blade), a chain saw or being electricuted kind freaks me out.

Yeah, those fishing hooks!! I hate them because I never forgot when I was 15, my step brother was playing with the fishing pole on purpose and the fishing hook got stuck on my first finger, I screamed at him, "DROP DOWN THE FISHING POLE!!!" He was so shocked and dropped it, then ran away from me... Well, I got thick blood runnin out of my finger, but it was all good the blood stopped running at least 5 minutes. The good thing was my mom had to punish my step brother for the entire weekend in his own room.

I USED TO HATE IT WHEN I WAS STUCK BY AN HIV IINFECTED PATIENTS BLOODY NEEDLE, I USED TO FREAK OUT, NOW I DON'T EVEN WORRY ABOUT IT. I LOOK AT IT AS AN OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD ONE HAS TO ACCEPT. IF YOU POKE PATIENTS, YOUR GONNA GET POKED YOURSELF ONCE IN A WHILE. SCREW IT!

Jack...amen brother, if we stopped to think about all the crappy stuff we could catch, nothing would ever get done. I'm always careful, mind you, but accidents do happen, especially in the ED with wild and crazy patients either drunk, high (or whatever) flailing around! We should swap war stories, I'll bet you have a few...

I don't know what it is, but those damn chainsaws scare the hell out of me. It's just something about that revving noise. If someone is using it regularly, not a problem. But when I've gone to Haunt and a monster is making it rev and chasing guests, I am the first one to haul my a** out of Dodge.

My thoughts exactly LDC, a chain saw like you said on a regular basis is no big deal but if I had a big crazed person chasing me with a chainsaw buzzing...I think I owuld pass out!...no a good situation.

I'm going to have to go with the triple barrelled shot gun from the movie "Undead." If you've never seen it, check it out, it's hilarious and a good Zombie movie. The mind that would build a triple barrled shot gun is almost as terrifying as the weapon itself!

Falling into a pit full of hyperdermic needles dosen't sound like much fun either!!

How about getting locked in an industrial sized front loading clothes dryer filled with broken bottles?

oooo that would be nasty. Being burn alive would be terrifying too...I know you wouldn't last long but for the few minutes you would be experiencing that...I am sure you would carry that to your next life!
