The Got Milk people want chocolate milk to be the Official Drink of Halloween. Sure, you have the chocolate/trick-or-treat connection but my vote would be for hot spiced cider because it has a long tradition of being served on Halloween. :D

What would be your Official Drink of Halloween be? :(

Oh, spiced cider, all the way. I enjoy chocolate milk but I have never, ever associated it with Halloween. More likely Christmas (hot chocolate).

That said, that is a pretty good advertising campaign--Good to the Bone! LOL

I have to go along with the majority here and vote cyder, but with one small difference. I CAN'T STAND hot or warm liquids, so I usualy drink my cyder ice cold, like any other fruit juice. Cyder is also a great Fall drink.

for the legal adults out there, as good & traditional as spiced cider is, few things beat a good pumpkin ale from a good microbrewery. In STL, we have a really good one by Schlafly's a local microbrewer, plus a few others.

Hubby and I found a really old recipe for mulled wine that I think I'm going to make our tradition.

When it comes to alcoholic beverages, I have to be extreamly careful. Because of my Gastric Bypass, everything is absorbed into my system faster, so I could get really drunk and even die of alcohol poisening.

I pretty much stay away from strong drink any more. I'll stick with ICE COLD apple cyder and a taffy apple.

Caramel cider or just plain and spiced. Mulled wine as well. Just warms me from the toes up.
