Just noticed something.....need help.
While watching the Trick 'r Treat shorts, I noticed these strange symbols/glyphs that keep appearing in the videos.
I first noticed it in the Easter special: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMt8pNn7Ux0
They're written all over the eggs Sam left them.
And again in the recent Back To School vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su4zZPgD ... er&list=UL
Right after Sam closes his lunch box, he picks it up to reveal what looks like an entire alphabet of these symbols.
Can anybody figure out what these symbols mean? What written language they're apart of? I did some research on ancient languages and a fair few of them match the glyphs in the videos. I just can't pinpoint which one exactly.

Good eye! It IS a Ouija Board! It has the same style and design and everything! It even has the message "Good Bye" written on the bottom that is found on most Ouija boards. It still doesn't answer the question of what language it's written in though.Spookymufu wrote:that pad under the lunchbox looks like a ouija board so maybe theres something to that?

no but i thought if "we" knew it was a Ouija board, that might put "us" on the path to figure out what that lettering might be, maybe by studying different styles of Ouija boards....just a thought

There wouldn't be a direct translation to ancient languages, since most of them weren't based on a 26 letter system. Though, the symbols do seem to be a derivation of the Phoenician system of letters. The stylized 'a" on Sam's board looks similar to the wedge shaped "a" in the Phoenician system. Other letters look similar, but not quite exact.... so I don't know if it's based on the Phoenician system or not, but I'd conclude that some of the lettering stems from that...

Fantastic observation. My conclusion would be that Sam's using a combination of ancient languages to form his alphabet. Gives us some insight to how long he's been around.jadewik wrote:There wouldn't be a direct translation to ancient languages, since most of them weren't based on a 26 letter system.
