Halloween Time Change?

Post by iHaunt » Mon Oct 25, 2010 11:22 pm

Is it going to forward one hour back on Halloween night, or the All Saints Day?

For instance, on October 31st at 2 am, forward back to 1 am or wait until November 1st? Maybe on the 30th of October? Anyone know?

The time change is on November 7th. Clocks will turn back an hour thus taking us off DST.

I don't know about you, but I wish we could go back to the TRADITIONl time of "Fall Back", which use to be like the first or 2nd Sunday of October. I think ToT should be in the dark, and that Halloween Night is sort of special. However, no matter what time a TOTer comes to my door they get candy.

But I do miss the days when we TOTed in the dark of night.

Crazy people... Glad I don't have to mess around with my clocks twice a year.

I wish the clock would change before Halloween, but that made me sad because it needs to be nice and dark and creepy for the kids and adults to be really, really scary!

Perhaps this should be posted in the Hallween Writing message board, but last night while lieing awake in bed, I was sort of making up a story about a serial killer who strikes twice a year. He strikes on the day we "Fall back" the clock, and he strikes again when we "Spring forward" the clock. His weapon of choice is a reinforced baseball bat, and his signature is to leave a cheap alarm clock set to the new time, with the words "Fall Back" or "Spring Forward" etched into the crystal.

I have not developed the story line yet. The place I have choses would be the Midwest, perhaps some town in Illinois.
