Hey all! Just reporting that today when I went to Costco, I found that they had 2 different large pre- lit jack-o-lanterns to choose from and sets of 3 different sculpted candle holders with a witch, mummy and vampire. Not much, but at least a sign of the start of spooktacular items in big box stores!

Don't you have to have a membership to shop there?

Yes you do have to have a membership $50.00 for two people. I love Costco - I was just in there yesterday and GIANT mums for $14.99. I love mums, they truely feel like fall. I didnt see any halloween things but I only ran in for something quick.

Tons of places already have Halloween stuff. Ok, well maybe not tons. Walgreens, Michael's, Tuesday Mornining, Big Lots and some local grocery stores already have their stuff out.

I already started decorating, I know it's early..........but I really don't care. :D

My Walgreens doesn't either! Now Party City just started putting some stuff out, but they said it will be a few weeks until everything is ready. I bought some tiny little fall leaf scatters to put on my Halloween village table.

GMW - I put fall leaves around my village too - I think they look awesome. I also added some moss and it worked well at covering up wires and such that needed to be hidde.

It seems like almost everyone has Halloween stuff now. Walmart is already putting out their stuff as they take down the back to school stuff.

I know the the White Barn Candle Company has some fall stuff and so does Bath and Body Works.

And one of the party shops has a big Halloween banner up for their seasonal Halloween store. Actually, they have a couple. I stopped in and there's a sign on the door that says the Halloween store opens Sept 1st. I was quite annoyed because I thought since they had great big giant banners up all around the store the Halloween shop would already be open. Silly me.
