My yard this year

This is what our yard looks like this year. My neighbor always lets us use their lawn as well, so there is more space to decorate with. It looks better at night, as I usually have a fire and lights going and we use a special light to make the neon paint glow. We always have someone sitting in the chair to scare guests, and my wife dresses up as a witch to greet the kids at the door. I'll try to get more pics on Halloween, but the camera in my phone doesn't take good pics at night.

Brilliant! Our yard haunt is not quite as elaborate, but several of our neighbors have yards similar to yours.

I got it way back in 2001 from a junkyard, the guy just wanted to get rid of it so he said I could have it for 50 bucks if I haul it away myself. I couldn't say no to that deal, but at the time I got it I didn't even know what to do with it, so it sat in my brothers garage for years until we moved into this house, and now we use it as a decoration every year. It has no engine so it doesn't weigh too much, and we have it on skids to move it easier. It's a junker, but I like it.

Thanks. You should have seen this place a few years ago, we used to have it spread across 4 houses in a huge haunt, but then one of the neighbors moved away and the new people that live there didn't want to participate. After that link in the chain went, then the other neighbors wife passed away and he stopped decorating. So now it's just 2 houses, but as long as we're living here we will always decorate our yard.

I now am suffering from an acute case of 'Yard Display Dnvy.' Those are wonderful. You did a good job on the photos, too.
