Halloween Poster For My Dorm

Post by SIEFKA » Fri Aug 22, 2014 1:24 pm

Hello everyone! I figured that this would be the best place where I could find about where to get a Halloween poster. When I think of Halloween when I was younger I would listen to a Monster Mash tape and on there they would have the Twilight Zone theme song on there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r55vQfT6RuQ

Watch the video from 16 seconds to the end. This song for me is what Halloween is all about. Its that magic that we can't see but yet it is still there. One of the ways I was able to actually see this is by decorating when I was younger for Halloween with this tape blaring or one of my favorite things to do every year is go to Cedar Point Halloweekends for the whole day. There they have in the afternoons more of the Halloween decorations that are not that scary and they really bring the joys of Halloween. Yet when you are walking around you can tell that there is a presence still there that later in the evening things will turn over and the scarier side of Halloween will come.

Another way I see it is the Ichabod and Mr. Toad movie I remember seeing that little sleepy town of sleepy hollow surrounded by the fall colors. Or recently in Rob Zombies Halloween 2 2009 the scene where Laurie Strode is at the towns fair it has the therapy music playing I love the look of the October sky with the dark clouds and you can almost feel the crispness in the air and in the leaves.

So I need some help finding a picture that resembles these things of Fall and Halloween. Something that will bring that magic to me every time I see that photo when hung in my dorm room.

Thank you.

I just can't wait until next Halloween,
'Cause I've got some new ideas
that will really make them scream!
And, by God, I'm really gonna give it all my might!

The legend of Sleepy Hallow from Disney is the top pick for my Halloween viewing, bar none.

Trick R Treat is way up on the list too for jaw-dropping Autumn visuals.

Are you talking about the movies? Yes the movies are great but I am wanting to find a picture that has all that included. Such as this one:

I really like that old town in fall feel. I'm not 100% sure if this is what I want absolutely. I wouldn't mind having some darker woods in the back to show what is to come such as Sleepy Hollow or the scarier side of Halloween.

I couldn't find a poster option but here is a page of images for the Old Burying Point, one of the oldest cemeteries in the US.

maybe you can find a larger file and have it printed?

I've been looking at these for a little while. Thought about purchasing them:
