i have discovered by studying that the meaning of halloween is that which happens each day just as the grim reaper reaps we are reaped daily by the true creator hence the true meaning of halloween is the true creator a reaper like being is reaping all of us each day hence the word halloween i thank you and please have a nice day and remember to get your tricks and treats each day peace as each day is halloween would i lie?

Well, yes, I would agree that the content of Halloween is universal and not confined to one time of year. Its significance as a holiday is probably that it ritualizes our fears about death. The ritual makes those fears more containable, somehow.

Of course, for me, Halloween is not just about the grim reaper and our inescapable mortality. It is also the great holiday of imagination. It is not merely a gruesome holiday, but also a profoundly playful one.
