Re: Post Halloween Depression
Like I said, It's sad to see Halloween go, because it's my favorite day of the year, but there's Thanksgiving and Christmas to compensate. I tend to get most depressed during the Winter season after Christmas vacation is over. And yes, I work at a school so I do get a Christmas Vacation.
January and February are about the two worst months of the year for depression, but I have pretty much found ways to get around those post-Christmas Winter doldrums.
Usualy when the Lenten season begins, my thoughts are on Spring and Easter only being 40 days away. I also have a huge St. Patty's party in March.

Re: Post Halloween Depression
I try my best not to think about Halloween being over with until it actually is.
There's no need to ruin a good time by constantly worrying about how you'll feel when it's over.
But like I've said a few times before, raiding the stores after Oct 31 for their highly discounted Halloween items helps with the let down.

Re: Post Halloween Depression
There's no major let down for me, because I know it's going to be back next year, and when you get to be my age, a year just isn't that long of a wait. Besides that, there are other holidays and times of the year that I like, and as much as I love Halloween, I would hate not to have Thanksgiving ever again, or Christmas, or Easter, or the 4thof July.
