I take all of my decorations down on November 1st. However, I have a little Sam figure that stays out all year long--I switch him back and forth from his pumpkin face to his masked face. And I'm almost always in the mood for a good scary movie. I may have calmed down since the 1st but there is always a tiny flickering Halloween light inside me that grow brighter and bigger with each passing month until the big day comes back. :)

Exactly that lil flame inside keeps burning. This place helps keep us in the mood too.

Those Sam figures are awesome. I'm going to try & get one ready for Halloween 2012.

As I sit here typing, my Jack Skellington tealight holder shines bright! :D

You're right Lillith, this site helps us all with our Halloween blues! :)

I agree Lillith. This is actually a lovely place for me to come when I'm starting to feel Halloween. Everyone I know thinks I'm insane for even thinking about it anytime other than October. It's nice to be amongst fellow Pumpkinheads whenever I want to talk Halloween :)

I'll be here too. Haunting can be a lonely business and I like being around 'my people' :)

I'm starting a new tradition. Every October 1st I put out 2 candy bowls and fill em up, one with candy corn, one with mixed regular and peanut M&Ms. Visitors are expected to dig in, I don't indulge... much. This year I re-filled them on the 30th. While the candy corn is gone, no one is eating the M&Ms, so until that bowl is completely empty, the Halloween decorations stay up. If my friends get tired of the decorations they better start munching.

This is actually a great time of year to purchase remaindered Halloween decorations, as I'm sure you all know. Last night at Kroger, I got a sweet little figurine for half-price (sorry, I don't know how to post photos). But it is a little bear in a witch costume, holding a pet bat on its hand. I just couldn't resist it.

I may have to visit Target tonight. They had a lot of Halloween things that I liked but didn't care to pay full price for. Hopefully it's still out. Last weekend however, I could see that they were already clearing the Halloween stuff for Christmas :x

Sometimes stores will put the left-over stuff in bins elsewhere in the store. If you don't see it out, ask a clerk.
