I REALLY liked The Witch. It just wasn't at all what I was expecting so I can see how that could turn some people away. I assumed it was a horror movie but it's really not. It's got a lot of depressing drama with supernatural elements and a lot of religion. Hard to pin down what genre it really is. As a side note I watched it at home and had to turn on the captions. The Old English and overall volume level made it difficult to understand. (It seems a lot of movies nowadays bury the dialogue behind all the background sounds/effects.) If I didn't have that I probably would've lost interest pretty quickly. I can see how it's one of those movies where you either completely love it or completely hate it.

I have Krampus and 'The Witch' next in my Netflix queue but I'll probably copy them and watch them during the season

Has anyone seen Conjuring 2? I heard it was #1 this past weekend. I liked the first one.

We watched it on Friday night. If you liked the first one you'll like this one. Seemed a little long but had a ton of jump scares. I liked it.

I remember I watched the first one on DVD on a stormy Halloween night two or three years back. Very satisfying!

a really good Halloween movie to see is like (i know what you did last summer) or like the Halloween movies my favor as kid is the 1993 Halloween tree movie its the best for young kids and adults

Me and my friends just watch the Conjuring 2 it was a good scary movie with a good story.
