Looks like these guys are kicking off the spriit. I have always loved Hallmark and there decorations.

The content on that site is from last year. I know that based on the television programming schedule info. It states it starts on Friday October 26. The 26th was a Friday last year, and is on Saturday this year.

Actually it isn't. Most media companies leave their holiday sub-sites active all year. Universal Studios usually adds a game that is tied to the theme to the Halloween Horror Nights website in November. In about three weeks, some of the television sites will be updated to reflect the content for this year. It all depends on when their Halloween programming starts. For the Syfy channel, you will likely start seeing ads for their "31 days of Halloween by mid September. Since ABC Family starts their programming on October 19, you likely won't see changes to the site or promotions for the programming until early October.
