Oh how I would love to be in the USA! Here in England we will not see anything for a while yet.

I've been surfing the internet looking at what to add to my decorations this year. There's a USA site that ship globally so I will be ordering a few items from there this year!

Dollar Tree is bringing more stuff out weekly. Their selection has gone to a single end cap by the children's toys to a whole section up by the entrance. I got a few more things:

I also visited the 99 Cent Only store which usually gets a great selection of things every year, but they don't have anything out yet. I did manage to grab an apron and a pair of gloves (99 cents each) for the life size butcher I'm going to be making over the next few weeks.

We've just bought our first decoration of this year. My wife went to Makro (it's a wholesale place here in England) today & bought a orange halloween candle. It's pretty cool though as it's made of real wax but battery operated!

It was in a sale, so obviously last years stock. It's just a little something extra to go on the mantle.

Sigh... I used to go to Borders to buy all my Halloween mags. Good thing we have a lot of magazine stands around here.

There's a retro themed store in Half Moon Bay CA. that sells all kinds of candy and toys that you may have thought didn't get made any more.

They have Halloween goodies out now and I picked up a nifty garland and a mercury glass (well, plastic) skull that changes color, when I went into town today!

Around these parts we call that an ASNR (pronounced 'Asner'). It's an acronym that stands for 'Acute Spontaneous Nasal Reflux'. Basically, it's when you laugh so hard, whatever you are drinking or eating erupts through your nose. Warning: Don't do this after eating chili peppers.
