Summer needs to go?

Just curious.
Do you want to see this summer go away? And, bring in the Autumn season? I'd like to hear your opinions here everybody!

Not quite just yet. I'd like to enjoy a few summer tomatoes first.

Guess I'd give this summer a little time because I love to cookout, swim in the pool or at the beach. Even, go to the amusement park for big fun event.

I teach school, so I am NOT ready to give up my lazy days and late nights. Not yet. But, as soon and school starts I am DONE with hot weather. Bring on Fall then!!

Absolutely Not. I love October and Halloween, but I also love Summer, and am having a grand time on my motorcycle and with my new car. I am looking forward to my Birthday barbecue, my trip to the Warren Dunes in Michigan, and to a lot more motorcycle riding. As luck would have it, I wasn't able to make as many 'haunted road trips" that I wanted to make this Summer, but you can rest assured I will make at least one during my vacation next August, and I will also be making at least two next October. But no. Summer needs to run it's whole course, and then when Fall gets here, it will be enjoyed along with October and Halloween.

I hate really hot or cold weather. But, you don't see people running to the car or door because it is too hot.
On the other hand, you can always add a layer in winter. You can only take off so much before the cops are called.

My thoughts exactly. That's why I'll always take the cold over the heat.
But I'm still enjoying summer. It just started raining this week, and there may yet be tomatoes!!!!

There is definately a lot of wisdom to what many of you are saying. It's a lot easier to get warmed up when it's cold then it is to get cooled down when you are all sweaty and hot. But the Summer is still my favorite season over all. It's a great time for vacations, motorcycling, 4th of July and my Birthday. I would hate to just skip over Summer. October is my favorite month, and Halloween is my favorite holiday, but Summer is and allways will be my favorite season for fun and things to do. I don't enjoy weather in the 90s, but it's my favorite season never the less.
