For a kid it would be. Think of something that you are scared of, it's the same thing, adults have fears too but with kids it's amplified because sometimes they don't understand that it's not real. Anywho, it doesn't matter, I was just stating my opinion. 8)

I think the finished product could definitely be scary for a kid to see, the way Halloween 4 would be.... But for the children acting in the movie, surrounded by production staff and crew, I think it would probably be much more like an adventure. I agree the finished products have such an disturbing impact because of the use of children, but isn't horror supposed to draw us back to our childhood, when so many things seemed scary?

I guess what I'm saying is, I like them because they are disturbing visually, but I wouldn't if it seemed the children involved were being exploited or hurt in some way, which I don't think is the case. Here is a link to the photographer's blog, where he describes the creation of the Devil pic: http://joshuahoffine.wordpress.com/2008 ... ing-devil/

He's got a new one. Reminds me of Evil Dead.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...
