EASTER IS VERY LATE THIS YEAR.

Hi Folks:

I was looking through the 2011 calender, and I notice that it won't even be Ash Wednesday until the 9th of March. Easter is on Sunday April 24th this year, which is the absolute latest date Easter can fall on. The good news is that since it's so close to May, maybe Holy Week and the Easter Weekend will be nice warm spring days for a change.

I don't like it when Easter is really early in the year.

Easter is really a Spring holiday, which is why I love it when it comes late.

But, the problem is the daylight time saving will change earlier in March. :?

Daylight Savings Times begins, I think, very earily in March. As for the Easter Bunny being evil, I am getting a little tired of his buddies raiding my Pumpkin Patrch every spring.

I can believe that, iHaunt. We got so much snow, i couldn't even find my car. It reminded me a little fo the great snow of 1979 and 1967. I was only a little kid in 67, but I was driving in 79. A buddy of mine and I drove home from the Old Chicago Indoor Amusement Park during the 79 Blizzard. I was driving a 71 Datsun 1200 with bald tires and very poor heating system. Talk abut a nightmare.

Yeah but when you're that young everything seemed 'do-able' and you were going to live forever.

These days I won't get into a car that doesn't have seat heaters in weather below 40 degrees.

Mike, I just wanted to let you know a new movie called "Hop" that will come on 1st of April. It is about the Easter Bunny is accidently hit by a car, and it's up to the offending driver to save Easter. It is great for children movie.

Easter Bunny gets hit by car?

Sounds like a fantastic idea for a children's movie.

I don't know if the Easter Bunny getting hit by a car is such a great thing to show to a child who still believes in such, but I bet it would be funny. I prefer the original "Peter Cottentail" that came out in the early 70s. If I could get my hands on a DVD or that show, I know the little ones in my family would really love that.

"Hop," I think would be better for the older kids who no longer believe in the Easter Bunny, but coudl use a good laugh.
