Unless the data is important. Most factory restores reformat the drive. I just went through this with a friend's computer. She got a virus that wiped her computer then it hid itself in the boot sector. Every time they did the restore, it wiped the hard drive again. Makes it tougher to get the files back with recovery software every time you write to the drive.tantraman wrote:just do a factory restore Not a big deal really
