The Earth will definitely end in fire, but I'm pretty sure it'll be by our own hands (or by the sun exploding). I'm a Christian, but I think people take certain things in the Bible WAY too seriously.

Oh, I think it will happen as predicted in Revelation. I just don't believe anyone will be able to predict when. Even Jesus said he didn't know when. I don't think we are supposed to have that kind of knowledge.

Hey Mike, here's an interesting article. It explains why we humans are predisposed to believe the end won't come. Basically it says it's a bug in our programming. I always found it funny how people don't prepare for disaster until after the event. You should have seen how many folks were down at Home Depot buying flashlights and generators after we had that big blackout. Then a few days later they were there returning the generators. Silly people.

If people really believed the end was coming they would all move to Montana. Some people do.

Some guy I know that really follows this stuff said something is supposed to happen today because of an alignment with the comet. Unless it's a 7.0 or higher earthquake I consider it a non-event. I've also read that November 11th is the day the Earth is sposed to go through the tail of the comet. I just hope a meteor doesn't fall on my house because saving food and water would have been all be for naught.

Yeah, I did read something on 4chan about the world ending on the 28th. If people don't actually believe the world will end then why do they keep setting up dates and selling their houses even after every prediction is shown to be bull?

Like I said on another thread, next year's holiday season is really going to stink out loud, because of all this 'end of the world' hype going around. I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of all those gullible people who spent thousands on 'Mayan Prophecy" survival kits.
