District 9

I just got done watching the film and all I have to say is... Wow. This film blew me away. Best movie I have seen since the Dark Knight.

If you love Science Fiction, YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE.

My only complaint is that the director directed this film instead of the Halo movie because of the in-fighting. :(

I was thinking of going and seeing it tomorrow. Is it worth going to see at the IMAX, or is it spectacular enough on a regular screen?

Sounds like it'll be worth the extra $$.

I've seen the movie twice and it I have to say it is the best sci-fy movie I have seen in a long time. The whole concept and idea of the movie is very symbolic and interesting and it is definitely a must see. A lot of people must have enjoyed it because it has a 8.8 out of 10 on imdb.com and is listed as the #31 movie of all time.

Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Don't let the trailers fool you: The last half hour is the most bad <deleted> action sequences I've seen in a long time.

I have to agree on that one. "District 9" was an action packed, edg of the seat space alien classic, reminiscent of "Alien Nation," if any of you remember that movie and the tv series that followed.

I was totaly enthralled through out the entire film. The spfx were great, the cinematography was 2nd to none, and I truely hope there's going to be a sequal.

Yeah, it's definitely open for a sequel.

Great ending.

I think it will be "District 10" because that was the name of the place where the aliens were being relocated to.
