What? No Valintines or St Patrick's day forums?

Non-Halloween related stuff. Same rules: family oriented, no flaming, be nice. ;-)

What? No Valintines or St Patrick's day forums?

Post by DemonSlayerMau » Mon Jan 05, 2009 11:31 pm

What about the smaller holidays? Even Thanksgiving at least gets a section here.
Valintine's is next, followed by St Pattys, then easter and then there's memorial day and 4th of July.
I know some of you think Halloween needs more recongnition but what about these poor holidays? People hardly talk about them...some people are anti valintines (although if you're single and miserable and have been broken hearted I guess I can't blame someone for doing such.)
Anyone have any traditions they like to do for the less popular holidays?
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

These are fun holidays but I don't think thy need a forum.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

You're right, RDM! I don't think there will be many members need to go on other forums like that. Mostly, they love Halloween! ;)

Well, even if he doesn't make a Valintine's forum, I did create my own halloween forum (unfortunately no one wanted to visit it though, so it's blank) and it includes a section for Valintines, St Patrick's day, a section for american holidays, and even a new years forum. XD

As I said before, I like ALL holidays. :D Even the ones that aren't as popular.

Can I have a link to your forum? I will join it. I have a Halloween forum too. But it's a crappy Freewebs one. There is not much on it.

http://mysteriousblackcats.yuku.com/directory

Here you go. It's called Mysterious Black Cats: A Halloween Forum. It's not much, I took a ready made theme and kind of doctored it up. If it got more popular I'd start working on separate themes for the other holidays. This one's a yuku board.

Well, I haven't heard from HalloweenCom about this thread that DSM has suggested here. I believe he will let me know later on.

Anyways, I do like St. Patrick's because I do go to St. Paddy's Pub for good times and have some drinks. :D

Gee whiz. I celebrate St Patrick's day with a Shamrock Shake from Mcdonalds and a Reuben Sandwich from Arby's. :D

Like I said, Vanentines Day is just an excuse to watch "Charlie Brown," and an oportunityh to reminisce about all the girls I had crushes on way back in 'the day.' St. Patricks Day is for all intent purposes my familie's "Official Holiday."

There is valentine.biz but it is not active right now, perhaps soon. Easterbunny.com is another one and it is active. Check them out. Also, thecoldones.com for Twilight Fans.
