Post by Dutchess of Darkness » Fri Oct 24, 2008 1:50 am

I was just wondering if any other members are going to to AC/DC's Black Ice concert? I'm going Nov28th when they come here to Vancouver BC, can't wait, it's gonna be a wicked night of high energy...

Hi Faceless, I've gone to many concerts and they are by far "in my opinon" the best there is when it comes to High energy, they really have an aura about them & can keep the energy pumping. I've never missed one of their concerts since I was old enough to go. Yes I was even at the AC/DC 1988 Riot.

The tickets here were $99 each and after Sir Charges they came to $120 each, so there, now you can feel better about what you paid. I've had people offer me $1500 each for my two tickets, and there's people who've paid over $2000 each to get tickets here. As you can tell AC/DC is a huge Band out west here.
Did you know that this whole album "black Ice" was done right here in their Vancouver BC Studio.
It's gonna be a wild concert, always is. Have an awesome time, and let me know what you thought after you see them, I'm sure you'll have a wicked time :D

Hi DoD,

Sounds good to me. We were right around $115-$120 after tax and what not. Maybe I just got spoiled when we went to see Rob Zombie/Godsmack and Rob Zombie/Ozzy for $45-60. lol

None the less, I can't wait for the show. They are prob the only "Classic" if you will I can handle. Everything else is more mainstream. I had no clue they even recorded in BC, Thats cool.
BTW $2000? Ouch
I hope you have a killer time as well. (Im sure you will) Hopefully I can take some Pics and try to post'em. Let me know what you thought when ya get back ;)

Hey Faceless, Ya I'll see if I can get pics also, if I do I'll post them ok. I saw Ozzy/Rob Zombie last October 20th, they played here in Vancouver BC on my Birthday, it was a great show. Somewhere here on the forum I had posted my pics from that show, I'll have to see if I can find the thread.

Sounds good. That would be awesome. I haven't been to a show in Oakland yet, so Im hoping that Venue allows Cameras. I know most do, and most bands could care less. It's the lack of knowledge Security Officers have these days...Someone forgot to tell them Its Ok.

BTW, Its late there no? shouldn't you be in bed. lol Unless your a nigh owl like myself.
Which most often than not isn't a good thing
