Well, I was a member of BlockBuster video online - but not anymore! Now, I'm with NetFlix! :D

NetFlix carries many, many different kinds of movies that BlockBuster doesn't carry any of them at all! I was so excited getting many movies to my own quece lists! Both NetFlix and BlockBuster prices are compared the same! ;) Remember, NetFlix has many, many movies than BlockBuster's! 8)

So, who are you with? NetFlix or BlockBuster?

I tend to prefer Netflix, because they seem to have just about any movie in stock, where I had problems finding some titles with Block Buster.

Yeah, you're right. Netflix always has everything that BB doesn't have some of titles because BB doesn't carry lots of foreign movies such as "hard to find" flicks or doesn't carry some exploitation films, you know? That's why NF has some of them!

NF wins!

I usually go with iTunes because I don't have to drive anywhere and I don't have to wait for the mail. ;-)

Does it have iTunes online? Never heard of it before. Does it carry many many more movies than NetFlix or what? How much does it charge each dvd?

Hi,
iTunes has music plus movies, music videos, TV shows (entire seasons or individual episodes) etc. Most of the movies, tv shows etc you can either rent or buy and it just downloads them.

Rentals are around $2.99 or $3.99. It varies, but those are all I see. Rentals are good for 30 days and it usually download quite quickly. I can usually start watching within a minute or two.

If you buy the movies they are around $9-$15, which is what I do with a fair number of movies.

They have a reasonable selection of new releases and a pretty good selection of others. It seems like a lot are being added every day/week.

They just added The Nightmare Before Christmas about a month ago.

I like it because I don't have to wait at all, I don't have to spend $ on gas to pick them up or return them (a round-trip to Blockbuster uses about 1/2 gallon of gas). Very convenient and less expensive.

You don't actually get the DVD, but as long as you backup your computer you have a copy of the movie if you buy or you have it for 30 days if you rent (you have 24 hours to finish once you start if I remember correctly).

Regarding the selection compared to a typical Blockbuster, I am sure it has much more than the average store. Compared to NetFlix, I suspect it has fewer right now but no doubt will catch up soon enough like it did with music.

Well, if you go to http://www.itunes.com then there is more information. You would have to download the iTunes software in order to check what exactly is available. They also have HD shows on their too, I forgot to mention.

There is more info here too:

That looks good... But I really like NetFlix because they carry all different kinds of foreign horror and thriller movies. Some are X-rated version, you know? That included sick and gruesome blood killers, of course, some naughty girls do bad things, you know? That's my favorite flicks from Europe! ;)

Yup. That's why I didn't see anything like that on iTunes. ;) I found out that NF does has everything online than BB does now! BB doesn't carry as much as any foreign culture films! That's why I already cancelled and closed my account from BB, then opened my newest account on NF just a while ago. :D
