look at dem dare apples

ok, i posted these over on santaclaus.com too, but i wanted everyone to see...

me and my daughter just made these in seriously, like 15 minutes we call them rocky road apples just like those expensive gourmet apples. we used chopped pecans, caramel, drizzled chocolate and marshmallows.

i had intended on just making caramel apples because i never have before, but then i decided to go all out with some ingredients that i had in the pantry and some chocolate bars left over from halloween. see, halloween comes in handy all during the year. :D

I'd seriously reconsider naming those apples, something else.
For "Road Apples" are something that a horse leaves behind.

My Goodness!!!! Yes, they do look yummy, but TERRIBLY messy at the same time! :D
And that is a beautiful tree!!!!

Kallie those rocky road apples look delicious, way to go mom! what a team you and your daughter make :wink:

And are those Garnet coloured flakes on your tree? Very nice touch :wink: Thanks so much for sharing the pictures Kallie, I really enjoyed looking at them :D
