A buddy of mine has an extra ticket to the Panthers V. Cowboys game on Dec. 22. Yours truly was lucky enough to score the unclaimed ticket. We're both from VA and unfamiliar with the Charlotte area. I've been to the stadium once before to see UVA play in a bowl game there, but haven't experienced a NFL Sunday in Panthertown. Is it usually a pretty good crowd/festive atmosphere for gameday?

As a Redskins fan I've gotta say it, GOOOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!

I like football to but i have to do something this just overcame me i have to say it i am i fan of the ky wildcats they met LCU RANKED 1# in the country!LCU still got back up and are number 1 again but then another one of my fav teams beat them to.Now GOOOOOOOOO WWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDCCCCCCCAATS!!!and GGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOO RRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOORRRRRRBBBBBBBAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKSSSS!!!!!!!!!!Woo hoo!

lmao...Man...I am so busy writing, you should have just came over to the Panthers site to get a hold of me.
Luckily I decided to lurk & found this thread !

Charlotte when the Panthers are winning can very festive...thing is we have a LOT of fairweather wine & cheese fans.
The only time it gets rowdy like a football game should be ''cause ya ain't in church'' is when the Cowboys, Skins or whomever is hot at the time comes to town.

Our owner KNOWS things have to change in Charlotte...you gotta let the BIG CATS run & have fun...cut down on the freakin family rules & let the fans get wild....security is there for a reason.
The Cowboy fans will outnumber Panther fans 3-1 in OUR OWN FREAKIN STADIUM !!!

Why ?

Because Carolina is STILL a young team, they either need to win a Super Bowl to pack the bandwagon or give generations a chance to adapt....we have too many people that refuse to give up old loyalties to support the Panthers...they will BURN IN HELL for that ! JK
Not to mention transplants from other states that cheer for the home state teams.

I was a VIKING...when I found out we were getting a team I jumped on it because I am a native of NC & LOVE my PANTHERS !

Thanks for the info, Catzilla. Rest assured, I'll be cheerin' hard for the Panthers because I absolutely hate Dallas. In fact, if I had to name a second favorite team it would probably be the Panthers. Can't wait for the 22nd to roll around, are you going?

Naw...I'll be playing in a Masters Football Tourney that weekend, BUT I will be at the Seattle game....our mother site is the Seahawks.
