How about a steak cooked on Hot Lava instead!?

Now that looks tender and juicey; and cooked in seconds to perfection! I want to try one!

That's kinda crazy! I wonder why they did that? I mean, it's not as if there could have been a doubt that the meat would cook.

steak gets tender as it cooks slow, the slow cooking "melts" the connective tissue that makes meat chewy or tough, so I dont know how it could be cooked to "perfection" in seconds, but I'd like to try it just to see

Right. Slow-cooking is ideal.

All the same the entire process looks intriguing.

And I certainly like me some steak; well done of course.

My husband would scold you about the Jack Daniels. He says only George Dickel will do.

I like my steak dead as a doornail; I want to make sure it's no longer mooing. Can't have even the tiniest bit of pink in there; mine has to be well done.
The closest thing I've had to liquor is liquor chocolates and liquor cake at Christmas.

Oh, I disagree with you about the steak! I want mine rare and juicy. No dessicated steak for me, thank you.

I just realized the irony of calling the steak rare; when it's not rare at all for people to want it cooked like that. One of my bosses at work is the same way, she likes it bloody.
But me, I got to have mine cooked all the way through. I guess I feel grossed out if it's not cooked completely. I can't even blame it on being from New York because a lot of people to me seem to like it pink or bloody up there as well.
Oh well. I guess we'll have to make notes here, if we have a Halloween.com meet up some day and decide to do a BBQ, let's take note of how we want our steaks done.

I'll take medium well please, just a little bit of pink in the middle to keep it tender!

I think ground meat has to be cooked through, and pork and chicken, but a beefsteak can be rare in the middle without a problem.
