Not afraid of the dark, only afraid of stubbing my toes or running into something lol.

This old house is full of creaks and moans and groans from the hardwood floors. It really gets going on windy nights.

Hmm..I think that's the wind??!! 8)
Haha I love them :)

its a weird thing with me but i find something really comforting in the dark.. not like i'm at some disadvantage like most would be thinking. i tend to think i have some sort of advantage... i don't know.. just a weird thought
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

My 100 year old house will creek, groan and make all kinds of noises that would have anyone who's afraid of the dark really going. I am not afraid of the dark, however. In fact, I love the dark and my old house.

I lived in a haunted house while I was building the house I live in now. I have never had paranormal experiences before nor have I after.
I was not only at night, but in the evening and early mornings too. I think that is when your senses are heightend. You see, hear and feel more.
The scariest times were all when it was pitch dark. I had something hold me down and another time sit on my legs. I thought someone had broken in my house! Very scary stuff.
After that, I have to keep a slight light on.
I am the shadow on the moon at night
Filling your dreams to the brim with fright,

I think I would have to leave a light on too, after something like that.
Something sitting on my legs? Eek!

Adrien, I do have some pictures of my house, but the file sizes are too big. I have to do some photo work before I can post.

I have had plenty of scary dreams in my time, but I never leave a light on.
