But ATM cards are only used for withdrawing money from an ATM and there might not be one for your bank near the place your walking around at, and then you would have to put up with the withdraw fee from the ATM and the one from your bank and really it would have been better to just have loaded yourself up with walking around money before you went to wherever in the first place. I could see your point with a credit/debit card though, however some small business places don't except them, so my question remains. Also i was thinking on it and maybe forty dollars would be good. That way you can buy something that you find that may be running out of stock that isnt very expensive, but at the same time restricts you frombuy something that is too expensive on impulse.

Enough that you can lose to a mugger so that he feels rewarded for his efforts, but won't leave you broke until next payday.

I live in the city. Everybody takes debit/credit cards. Heck, a lot of places already accept pay-by-phone. Anyways, I always have at least $20 on me.

Actually, I've always kept a stash of money at home, in case the ATM network goes down. About a year ago I converted that cash to silver. I don't have a fire safe so I figured, if the worst happened, silver would melt instead of burn up like cash. My luck? It would get so hot, the silver would evaporate. Also figured I can use the silver as spending money in case the dollar collapses or one of the current end-of-the-world scenarios actually occurs.

I should have been a boy scout. Always prepared?

A sickened mind and spirit
The mirror tells me lies
Could I mistake myself for someone
Who lives behind my eyes
Will he escape my soul
Or will he live in me
Is he tryin' to get out or tryin' to enter me
They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I am Vengeance...I am the Night!

I swear to God...[Batman]SWEAR to Me!!
