Win a stay at the Hotel Del Coronado

Just found out that Cumulus radio stations are giving away a trip to San Diego, a 3 night stay in the Del's haunted room on Halloween weekend. This is the room that the John Cusack movie '1408' was about. I assume all Cumulus stations are doing it because I've heard it advertised on stations in Ohio, New York, and Florida. Have to hurry though, contest ends October 20th.

Edit: Well, the one in Youngstown says it ends the 20th but the station in Melbourne says it's over. Check your local stations and see if it's available. If you win and can't go you could always send me the prize package. I can't tell you how hard it is to book that room on Halloween.

Staying in a haunted hotel room sounds cool and all, but one that 1408 is based on?
No thanks. I've seen the movie, and it actually did scare me quite a bit. The idea of being trapped there for all eternity really creeps me out.

Obviously 1408 is a lot embellished. No one's ever been hurt but the investigation of the room was Stephen Kings inspiration for the short story, along with another hotel somewhere on the east coast.

My buddy still thinks that was Kate's ghost I got a picture of. Sucker!

Spending the night alone in a haunted hotel room would be fun, but I would really love to spend the night alone in a big old haunted house. I mean a big old 200 or 300 year old house with candle light, a gruesome history and a thunder storm to top it off.
