Well, you know what they say. My last name happens to be O'Brien, but I am by no means, related to the famous Conan O'Brien. There's a faculty member at the college where I work who's name is Wagner, but I doubt he's any relation to the composer of the same name. This supposedly distant cousen with the name Poe may or may not be a distant relative of the late author. So I would take what I read in that article with a grain of salt.
