Demons have high potential for being real... People summoned them, used them to increase their powers, and that's why the church banned all magic....

This is based in historical background. Before these events happened, the church condoned magic. (Believe it or not!)

Yes, I believe in demons. I also believe in Hell, so does my wife. Have you ever heard of an Incubus & Succubus? The Incubus is a male demon that sexually rapes women while they are asleep. The Incubus is often blamed for pregnant virgins. The Succubus, on the other hand is a female demon that sexually rapes men.

I heard about it before... I believe Incubus or Succubus was in one of the movies, I'm not so sure what the name of the movie. Do you know?

Well there are a few movies named Incubus, but I'm assuming you watched the one with Michael Shatner? The one he starred in seems to be the most popular.

Yes, that one called INCUBUS in 1965. Also, I think INCUBUS remake was in 2006. I've never seen that in 2006.

I believe demons are real. I also believe in angels. There seems to be this huge emphasis in my family that ghosts are actually demons trying to decieve us.
But it's hard to say. The thing is, ghosts seem to be something that we can do nothing about. But demons we can do something about them.
Ghosts can't hurt us....but demons? Yes. They can. And they will.

If ghosts can move objects, they can certainly hurt us.

What do you guys think would be the difference between a ghost and a demon then?

Demons never had a body. They followed Satan out of heaven and now work for him. A ghost is just the restless spirit of a dead person.

Demons and spirits are almost the same. Many religious people like Christians think demons are some kind of creature with hair, sharp teeth, drool & red eyes all though several Santanic people claim demons are nothing more then humans. A friend of mine who is a Wiccan use to tell me all sorts of different things. From when Hell & Heaven were once the same thing, to the friendliness of demons. Ghosts on the other hand might be the same thing as demons. Nobody really knows, people believe what they read and live by it. It's a very tough and confusing topic to talk about.
