I was born and raised to believe that every person has a soul that passes on to Heaven, hell or Purgatory when he or she dies, so yes, I do believe in the existance of ghosts, but I do not believe that they actualy hand around here on Earth. I think that paranormal happenings are caused by psychic energy emitted by brain waves of the person who lived and died in the hauted place, or could also be caused by an uclean spirit.

That's why abandoned insane asylums, prisons, hospitals and the like are sid to be haunted. Many people suffered in those places, tha the energy brought on by that suffering is stored up somehow, and is replayed back in the brains of those who are sensitive to it. Older homes and buildings, likewise, have more stored up pshcyic energy then newer buildings do.
