Do Ghosts like Guns?

Post by iHaunt » Sat Jul 04, 2009 2:42 pm

Last week the Ghost Adventures Crew was headed to Tombstone, Arizona for an investigation of the Bird Cage Theater, one of the most haunted buildings in the wild west. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to provide location details and an extended video preview. It was shown on the Travel Channel last night at 9 PM.

I caught a glymps of that, but I spend too much time on my motorcycle and lighting off fireworks yesterday.

But I'm not suprised to hear about Tombstone Arizona being one of the most haunted places in the world. I was in Tombstone Arizona years ago. I didn't see any ghosts or apperitions, but the bloddy history of that town comes through loud and clear. The "Shootout at the O.K. Korale" is still one of the most talked about gun fights ever to take place in the "Wild West." But even before that, there were plenty of linchings, plenty of accidental shootings, and people killed by mistake. If you are ever in Tombstone Arizone, go check out the Boot Hill cemetery anr read some of the epitapths on the grave markers. Every one of those stones tells who'e lieing in that grave, and the gruesome details on how they were killed. One guy stabbed, another one hung, another one shot 4 times with a 44 magnum. It really illustrates how easy it was to get killed back in "the day."

No wonder there's stories of ghosts and hauntings.

There was a great show on last night about Al Capone. Before that, they had a favulous documentary about John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Machine Gun Kelly and Bonny & Clyde.

Al Capone has no small part in the local legends about Bachelors Grove. A lot of people who his gang as well as the "North Side" gang "Bumped off" or "Rubbed out" were both killed and then dumped in that area.

Again, it's no wonder why there are so many ghost sightings in that area.
