I think the Hellraiser series needs to be put to rest. I've watched all 8 of the movies and think I"m about done. I think the first three movies and the fifth movie were good, the rest no so much. (Though there's not a lot of love for the third movie, I dug it. Particularly Elliot the ghost.) I kinda hate saying it, because I love Doug Bradley as Pinhead, and find the man's voice amazing. I could listen to him read his grocery list, which coincidentally is the plot for the ninth movie I think.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

Ha! I'm with you, the first two movies were good. I couldn't watch them after, I was too afraid they would muck it all up as is usually the case with sequels. I'll try out the third though, on your recommendation.

Cool, let me know what you think. Like I said, a lot of fans really hated it and it did have its problems. The new crop of Cennobites were really pretty sorry. Easily not as good as the first 2, but I liked it. Doug Bradley plays both Pinhead and the ghost of the human who became Pinhead, Elliot. I found that to be my favorite part of the movie. Hope you like it.
