My daughter went to see it Friday night with some of her friends. A couple of them dressed up -- one girl was Alice and my daughter was the Mad Hatter. After the movie, they went out to Friday's. People were complimenting them & taking their picture. My daughter saw it again, the next day, when another friend was celebrating her adoption day, which is like a second birthday, & was able to take two friends out to the movie & dinner.
Last Friday, I saw "Shutter Island." Great film! Go see it.
This Saturday night, I'm going with my daugher & a bunch of people to see "Rocky Horror" in Houston. I used to be heavily involved with it wayyyyyyyy back in the 80s when I lived in NYC. I played Janet at one of the most famous floorshows, the 8th Street Playhouse, which is no longer a theater. My daughter has seen the movie at home, but never live. I know she'll love it because her personality is very similar to mine, and she's drawn to things that aren't all that mainstream. She even has a costume all ready -- she's going as Magenta, her favorite character.
