Split Man Costume

Post by jadewik » Mon Jul 22, 2013 12:26 pm

Magician Andy Gross really pulls one over on these people! Watch as he hilariously confronts people as "Split Man"-- a man cut in twain, clutching his lower half.

This must be done in a haunted house! But with dead guy makeup and guts hanging out of course.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

That's great. I love how when the mother and son run away at about 1 min 20 sec the sun pushes his mom back so he can escape.

I'm doing Day of the Dead. I have a Mexican outfit, complete with a black lace shawl I bought in Mexico City years ago, and I have the make-up already purchased.

LOL, Murf-- be careful. It's "Latino" outfit. At least here in Tucson, it's not "Mexican". That's racist! (I'm half-joking.)

Too bad Halloween is the day before All Souls-- I'd take some photos of the makeup for you from the Dia de los Muertos parade they do downtown. Most all the makeup involves a white base with black paint for skulls-- but I've seen some cool face art done with blues and reds too. I did, however, scrounge up this link to the local paper's photo archive from last year...

Edit in: K that was lame... I thought that was the photo archive from last year... Boo.

K here is the gallery I was thinking of:
