Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

Ahoy mateys! This year Mau's dressing like a pirate, and my costume is coming along quite nicely. I wish I had my own digital camera to show it off.
So far I've got a nice frilly black butten long sleeved shirt, and white stretch pants. Dunno if you can reverse the rule or not, but I thought it looked quite nicely. (Normally it's white shirt and black pants :p) I made a nice marroon sash out of an old blanket which had a hole in it, and I've got a nice purple and black bandana (my favorite colors) and some nice hooped earrings. With my winter boots, it looks great. I wouldn't mind getting an eye patch too.
Any advice anyone can offer me? Usually I don't spend THIS much time on a costume and end up throwing something together at the last minute...but this year I'm using the ol' noodle noggin'.

That sounds great! I love when people make their own things. You'll know no one else has anything like it. I wish there was some way you could post pics!

Do you have boots, or a parrot, or a sword of some type??? Maybe a little money bag that can go on your belt with coins inside??

No parrots, but I've got five cats. XD; I do have some real daggers...but no plastic swords or anything like that.
No coin sack, I'd have to find these things cheap o.o. THought about adding an eye patch though.

All you need is a square piece of fabric and a string to make a coin purse. LOL I dont think your cats would follow you around, you might want to leave them at home!
