I think it's great to find someone who is as playful and willingness to dare to be different and buck the trends. Looking at the friends of the bride & groom was pretty cool. Seems that the wedding was so much fun. Plus, it was probably a lot cheaper for guests to come in costume, rather than buy a new suit or dress for the occasion.
A haunted house wedding? Now that's an idea that I like!!! A couple who is that daring is a really fun, happy couple and I hope they have their happily ever after.
I'm doing this! This Halloween, My fiance and I will say "I Boo"...lol in Orlando during Halloween Horror Nights, and then when we come home, we're having a big haunted house reception. This is my twisted dream come true!
haha,, thanks guys ,,, my family is weird with tradition though,, they would never understand because they get sick of me talking about halloween... but thats because i find it sooo facinating
What a fantastic idea!
I have wanted to do that for awhile noe, since
I saw it set up in one of those "Good Housekeeping" rags.
They had white pumpkins everywhere, and it was beautiful, as well
as true to the theme. Can't wait to get married.... : ]

Friends of ours are having their wedding on Halloween this year and at my house, we have a home haunt and they wanted to do it here. I am setting up a morbid wedding prop just for them and their wedding will follow trick or treating. Our daughter got married last summer (outdoor wedding) so I have all the stuff left over from that to set up a real cool morbid wedding chappel I plan on dying all the white tulle black and painting her archway black and all the flowers black and some how making the wedding march sound demented still working on that part though. But any other sugestions and advice will be greatly appreciated. I will be a small wedding.
• The minor-key rendition of "Here Comes the Bride" played on piano in the attic of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
• "I Put a Spell on You" performed by Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Nina Simone, or Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Never thought of those 2 was more like leaning towards the funeral durge, I use them on my videos that I make of trick or treat night duh my mind is slipping lol, thanks for the advice.
I'm not a huge fan of weddings. I usualy avoid them like the proverbial plague on the few ocassions I do get invited to them, but if you're going to get married, you can't go wrong with a haunted house wedding. My oldest niece got married in October of 05. October 29th to be exact. I did promise to video tape her wedding so I couldn't get out of that one. Sort of loused up the Halloween weekend that year, but at least I got some good video footage. My niece loved it, and she has a Halloween themed Anniversary arty for her and her hubby every year.
