Hi Folks:
I am not posting this as a poll, because there are litteraly thousands of Christmas songs and albums out there both old and new, far too numerous, so I thought I would first ask, what is your favorite Christmas record album, CD, or song?
I'll begin by stating what mine are. I have two favorite albums that are tied for first place. One of them is "Tijuana Christmas," which I posted a story about in the "paranormal" forums. It's a unique musical approach to some very traditional carols. The other favorite is a various artists album titled "That Christmas Feeling," which features "It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" by Perry Como, among others. Pleasant childhood memories of the magical moments that Christmas use to represent before I grew up are the reasons why I love these two albums so much.

Re: Favorite Christmas Song, Album or Music
My fiance (who is totally a Christmas freak) has a couple compilation Bing Crosby/Frank Sinatra/Dean Martin/Nat King Cole CDs which I can tolerate. There is also the Brian Setzer Orchestra and another swing one. My favorite song is "The Holly and The Ivy" because it still has visible pagan roots.

Re: Favorite Christmas Song, Album or Music
More power to you, but again I'm pretty much a tradtionalist when it comes to Christmas music, too. I am especialy fond of Handel's "Massiah," particularly the "Aleluah Corus," and "Oh, Unto Us a Child is Born." As you guesed, I am a very devout traditionalist Catholic. But my favotire "fun" Christmas Album is that "Tijuana Christmas" record my late brother introduced me to when I was a pup.
