You want to know something really rediculous? About two or three years ago, one of the major cable stations, I think it was USA but I can't swear to it, decided to have a "Christmas in July" celebration, and they featured all the Christmas specials, such as the animated version of "The Grinch," the Charlie Brown special, "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer," and a whole host of others. It was during that time when my air conditioning was acting up, so it was abou 90 degrees int he house. I actualy wrote a complaing letter to that cable station because I was just totaly ut off by that.
By the way, that also detracts from the holiday. Being once a year is part of wh at makes it a special day. If we have Christmas, Easter, or Halloween every day of the year, then it stops being a fun, special holiday, and becomes a boring regular hum-drum day.
